"Why Are You Here?"

One of a more difficult experience meeting internally displaced people on my travels. The families here were resettled by Focus on Children Now (FCN), an NGO based out of Los Angeles, California.

Arriving in Tavush province was not the easiest of journeys. A police blockade nearly stopped me in my tracks when trying to enter the remote border village that I planned to visit. My goal was to meet with IDPs who had been resettled there from Nagorno-Karabakh after the 2020 war.
